Each image is an assertion
Basically, I understand my artistic work as an
irritating interaction that tells of how life transcends its own subjective
boundaries.
But my narratives do not have clear plots. Rather, they are
fragmented stagings that initially deny the viewer orientation in time and
space.
It is important for me to explore the theme of
simultaneity of these fragments: Simultaneity of space(spaces) and
time(times), of memory and presence, of dream and reality, truth and lie...
"I am my own algorithm" explains the
conceptual approach why I work with a wide variety of media and materials.
The digital image in particular allows me to
present my narratives (as a tangible, fictional universe) in a visual
vocabulary of my own (as aesthetically resilient material).
