Screening CONSORTIO Vis Invisibilis at
Universitatea Dunarea de Jos. Festivalul

SYNOPSIS:
CONSORTIO Vis Invisibilis
is a visual and auditory meditation that
explores the fractured interconnection
between humanity and the world. Through
the fusion of documentary footage, AI
simulations and medieval lament music,
the work invites the audience to reflect
on the fragility and beauty of living
things. The images oscillate between the
sound of the sea, microorganisms,
sterile laboratory scenes and thirsty
plants: a journey between nature,
science and alienation. The AI-generated
music – based on Latin Gregorian chants
– underscores the underlying melancholy
and evokes a lost unity between humanity
and nature.
A cinematic lament in
monotonous colours is not a call to
action, but a requiem: it is only in
loss that we recognise what sustained
us.

‘Die Anatomie der Zeit — ein visueller Obduktionsbericht‘
seziert nicht nur die Vergangenheit,
sondern auch unser Vertrauen in die
Gegenwart. Was bleibt von der Wahrheit,
wenn selbst Erinnerungen — einst als
unantastbarer Besitz des Individuums —
heute technisch generiert, manipuliert
oder gelöscht werden können? Früher galt
das Foto als objektiver Zeuge — heute
kann KI jede Realität erschaffen.
Vielleicht ist die grösste
Herausforderung nicht die Technologie
selbst, sondern die Erkenntnis, dass wir
uns längst in einem Labor der
Möglichkeiten bewegen — ohne zu wissen,
wer die Regeln schreibt...
