A human action can be

so many things. And there are so many things to do. But the most urgent action is: upgrade the soil.

If you were to ask to an amateur gardener which soil he prefers, a sandy or a loamy one, the answer would probably be sandy. After all, a loamy soil is much too dense, too firm, and therefore too wet. A sandy soil, on the other hand, is much looser. That sounds better, doesn′t it? But it isn′t. Because even though sandy soils are well aerated, they have decisive disadvantages. For one thing, irrigation water seeps away much faster, so the soil also dries out more quickly, and for another, important nutrients that the plant need are washed away.

The Prignitz lies on a sandy terminal moraine of the last ice age. For a few years now, the hot summers have been making themselves felt. The groundwater has dropped drastically, the forests are dry and highly fire-prone.

Ambivalence is the only justification of freedom

The meaning of a word is its use in language - this becomes the basis of the radical change of perspective in Michel de Certeau′s cultural theory. He directs the attention away from the producers and the powerful towards the users, who do not passivley accept the structures presented (language, city, society etc), but actively use the structures and thus reinvent the meaning of the structures, and without the powerful or producers of the structures being able to use, appropriate or control them.
